Preparing for the New Year!
As we bring in 2010 and prepare for a better year than 2009, I’d like to assure you that DDR continues to closely monitor the state’s budget crisis and any legislative action we may want to take. We are also taking steps to continue providing the top quality of care and support to the entire DDR Family. Your loyalty with DDR during some tough times is appreciated more than you will ever know. I am very blessed to know each one of you and work with you. DDR has some exciting things planned for 2010 and I can’t wait to announce them! Be on the lookout for a very special invitation, coming soon!
DDR is always monitoring the performances of our DSPs, and is beginning to identify some standouts candidates for the DSP of the Year awarded at the annual DSP recognition banquet in August. If you, as a Consumer, have extraordinary things to say about your DSP, let us know! We welcome any and all feedback!
And, don’t forget to check out the Mesa Arts Center for the performances that you can use with Mesa Bucks. DDR has plenty of Mesa Bucks still remaining for you. -Deborah

DDR has office hours!
On January 1, DDR’s Owner/Executive Director and administrative staff introduced “office hours” for all non-critical business and service needs. Office hours will be Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding federal holidays.
Consumers and DSPs—Hear ye! Hear ye!
Looking ahead to spring break (for those of you who have sons or daughters still in school), are you going to be getting away? Are you looking for a DSP who has his or her home certified? We have 4 DSPs who have certified their homes – contact us for locations.
Also, check your calendar for those any changes in your spring schedules and we’ll get started on Consumer/DSP interviews and matching you up.
DDR’s 2nd HAI home!
If your son or daughter is ready for independent living, then DDR might be able to help! We are looking to open another HAI home this spring or early summer. Let us know if you would like more information!
Next Consumer dinner!
This is a chance for you to meet other Consumers receiving services from DDR. You’ll have the opportunity to have a small-group discussion with Deborah and provide your feedback on various company operations — policies, procedures, areas for improvement or change, etc., and enjoy a light catered dinner. We will be announcing the March date soon.
