2012 Happenings
As many of us continue to face financial challenges, if
you know of anyone who is looking for employment and would
make a great DSP, please refer them to our website to
complete an application—www.ddresources.com. We prefer
applicants who have experience and the required training
(CPR, First Aid and Article 9).
DDR is always monitoring the performances of our DSPs, and
is beginning to identify some standout candidates for the
DSP of the Year awarded at the annual DSP recognition
banquet in August. If you, as a Consumer, have extraordinary
things to say about your DSP, let us know! We welcome any
and all feedback!
For those of you with theatre interests, DDR has plenty of
Mesa Bucks still remaining for you, so check out the Mesa
Arts Center for the performances that you can use with Mesa
Bucks.
My heartfelt thanks continues to go out to all of you who
are part of the DDR family. It is my honor to know you and
provide services to your family.
-Deborah

O, Tanya H, Amy M, Kathy O, Lisa K, Joseph M, Fatima K,

Happy Birthday to all of you!
Consumer Appreciation Event
We are planning our next Consumer Appreciation Event.
If you have ideas on what you would like to do, let us know!
We like to hold this in April—to coincide with DDR’s
anniversary.
Last minute and overnight
respite available!
Do you ever have a last minute need for Respite? Or, for
overnight Respite? One of DDR’s DSPs, who has her home
certified and lives at Stapley/Brown in Mesa is available
for these kinds of needs. Please give DDR a day or so to
make these arrangements and get her your son or daughter’s
orientation form. You may want to consider meeting her and
seeing her home before this last minute need would arise. If
you are interested in this, please let me know and I’ll
coordinate that visit.
ATTENTION DSPs!!
Mark your calendars for February as the annual MANDATORY
Bloodborne Pathogens training is upon us once again. For
those of you who transport Consumers, annual vehicle
inspections will be conducted as well. A comprehensive
review of policies and procedures and the Time Sheet Rules
will also take place. Tentative dates are Saturday, February
11 and 25. Consumers will be informed of this training
requirement.
ATTENTION CONSUMERS AND
DSPs!!
As spring approaches, there may be times when your Consumer
and/or DSPs needs will change—especially if you are making
spring break plans! Please let DDR know as soon as you know
if they do, then DDR can work on arranging to have your
needs met. If you have any special needs that require
detailed attention, let DDR know and we can meet to discuss.
